Strengthening Families Programme

The Strengthening Families Programme 10-14 (UK) is designed to:

• Help parents build on their strengths in showing love and setting limits
• Help young people develop their skills in handling frustration, improving communication and building a positive future
• Encourage families to work together

What’s involved?

• 7 weekly sessions, each lasting two hours, usually held in the evening
• During the first hour parents and young people work separately with group leaders
• During the second hour parents and young people work together as a family group

There will be

• Activities and games in all sessions
• Free refreshments
• Child care and transport available
• A free weekly raffle
