We are a voluntary agency offering FREE and CONFIDENTIAL services to users of drugs or alcohol throughout Cwm Taf.

Established in 1985, we aim to provide high quality services to anyone affected by substance misuse. We work within the harm reduction framework on a client led basis.

This service is also available for their families and friends.

You will get a friendly welcome and be treated with respect.

We don’t expect you to stop using unless you are ready to.

We will work with you to help you achieve your goals, whether that’s stopping your use or offering advice and help about safe practices that reduce the risk of harm.

If you have other problems resulting from your drug or alcohol use e.g. housing, debt, legal issues etc. we can help you get appropriate help and advice.

If we can’t provide the appropriate service you feel you need, we can refer you on to other services.


We offer Dry Blood Spot testing for Blood Borne Virus (BBV) identification and referral to treatment if necessary

DASPA – Drug and Alcohol Single Point of Access

DASPA is the Drug and Alcohol Single Point of Access service, is a service in Cwm Taf to help anyone affected by drug or alcohol problems access the support they need.

There is now one number to call 0300 333 0000.  Calls will be answered by a skilled and experienced worker who will be able to provide advice and information and complete a triage assessment ensuring efficient access to the most appropriate service.

DASPA is commissioned to cover all substance misuse services across Rhondda Cynon Taff & Merthyr Tydfil (Cwm Taf).
